Proper Boards & Picnics was founded by Paxton Rein. She has been making boards and grazing tables for friends and family ever since they popped up on her Pinterest feed in 2016. She soon discovered she loved using them to bring people together, create conversation, and inspire food creativity. In 2023, she decided to take that joy and passion and turn it into something bigger.

While sitting at a picnic in Vet’s Park in Great Bend, KS, Paxton dreamed up Proper Boards & Picnics. One week later she had a logo and plan to test the market in Great Bend.
